Six Rivers Market

Volunteer

The cooperative often needs 1-2 volunteers each Wednesday delivery day from 1:00-6:30 PM to help sort and distribute product.  Six Rivers Market also needs help with other various tasks throughout the year, such as planning annual events, representing Six Rivers at community events and coordinating special outreach projects.  Please let us know how you would like to contribute!  Email us at volunteer@sixriversmarket.org.

Join our Board of Directors

Each Spring the Six Rivers Market cooperative membership elects a Board of Directors to govern the cooperative.  The Board meets monthly to represent the cooperative membership by guiding the direction of Six Rivers Market.   The Board is continually seeking active cooperative members who would like to help guide the Market.  No experience is necessary, just a passion to help create a lasting organization that could very well help shape the future of our community!  If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Board Member, please contact us at info@sixriversmarket.org.

Sponsor the Market

Contributing to Six Rivers Market is making an investment in your community.  As Six Rivers Market grows, it will bolster existing and create new agricultural jobs in the area.  As more community members can make a living producing food, all of us will have a more secure food supply and healthier environment.

Become a Producer

We have found a tremendous demand for local food in our community. We will always need more product, whether it’s from a budding gardener or a seasoned market gardener. We need fresh produce, of course, but also baked goods, grains, dairy products, and various processed foods.  There are also a few services that can be sold via the market, such delivery.  Please contact us if you need some guidance in starting production or have an idea you would like to pursue. We can help you find the resources you need for beginning a rewarding career.

Share your local photos with us

We need this site to be, well, more local!  If you have a great photo you would like to share that highlights this beautiful North Idaho community—its produce, its people, its animals, its scenery—and would like to share it, please do!  Just email us a copy of your photo and we’ll find a good spot for it, along with a photo credit for you.  Just please be sure it is YOUR photo so we can ensure the proper credit for it.
